Design Inspiration: Mountain & Sea Whales

Inspired by traditional Eastern ink art and ancient ocean mythology, this design tells a quiet yet powerful story of whales drifting between mountains and seas.

Against a backdrop of swirling, hand-drawn wave patterns, bold black whale silhouettes glide through the composition with calm authority. An adult whale leads the way, followed by a smaller one, symbolizing protection, continuity, and the deep bond of life beneath the surface. The contrast between ink-black forms and layered grayscale currents creates a sense of depth, rhythm, and timeless movement.

The minimalist palette strips the ocean back to its essence—motion, breath, and balance. Every line feels intentional, echoing the philosophy of Eastern art: strength without excess, beauty without noise.
